In my view, management is a very attractive course. Management is not only teaching people how to do a better work, but also teaching people how to manage people. In that way manage can lead employees’ work have more efficiency and effectiveness. Ever companies have a basic target which is gain profit, as much as one can. Gain profit means “less input more output” which is easy to say hard to do, because we must consider about many sides the satisfaction of employees, the mood employees have when they are working and is the employee is the ‘one best’ for a job to be done. To solve these problems scientists created the management.<br>
In my group presentation, I am take charge of the organization culture of HAIDILAO wrote my own speech, and I also provide a lot of materials in many directions such as the leader Zhang Yong‘s life experiences, the serves they provide and the promotion system they are using. Secondly I pointed out the mistakes in our PPT and changed former style with some of group members. When I worked in a group, I found out that I was too floppy, which causes some trouble to myself. After presentation I realized that is a serious problem and I need to correct it immediately. Grammatical mistake is also a serious problem I found when I was prepared the presentation. <br>
The most valuable thing I have learned from this class is the theory of scientific management from the father of scientific management Fredrick Winslow Taylor—using scientific methods to define ‘one best’ for a job to be done. I think it is quite reasonable and I did not realize that before I learned it. ‘Putting the right person on the job with the correct tools and equipment’ makes me to think about myself. This theory not only means a lot to management, but also means a lot to me. I think Taylor is a genius, he noticed that we need to provide the job to a right person and to having a standardized method if doing job and to providing an economic incentive to the worker. Basic on this theory the management have a big progress.<br>
I except to learn more about management because I think this skill is very helpful, it tells people how to be a smart person. A person can control people by intelligence but force. My suggestion is that I hope teacher can give us enough break time to take a break.<br>
